DOCS REVEAL: Mueller Won’t Present SHRED Of Collusion Evidence At Manafort Trial

Robert Mueller is the classic case of someone that we have all seen a thousand times before, it may have even been one of us at one point in time.

Robert Mueller is the kid that we all knew in school that would be given a month to read a novel and do a book report on it; only to not do a single thing until the very last day and do the report based on the movie version of the book.

Special Counsel Robert Mueller has dropped a bit of a bombshell.

He revealed in court filings made for the trial of former Trump campaign manager Paul Manafort that he would not be presenting any evidence of any collusion with Russia.

“The government does not intend to present at trial evidence or argument concerning collusion with the Russian government,” said the Mueller team in the documents they filed.

And that’s highly significant.

From Daily Caller: The filing sheds light on one of the largest questions looming over the Manafort case. Mueller’s prosecutors have indicted Manafort in federal court in Virginia and Washington, D.C., on a slew of charges related to his consulting work for former Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych.

Manafort ended the work in 2014, and it has been unclear whether Mueller’s team planned to reveal evidence about President Donald Trump or the campaign.

Manafort is accused in the unverified Steele dossier of directing the Trump campaign’s efforts to coordinate with the Kremlin to help Trump in the 2016 election. The dossier, which was funded by the Hillary Clinton campaign and DNC, claims that Manafort worked with former Trump campaign adviser Carter Page on the effort. Both Page and Manafort have said they have never met each other.

The fact that they don’t intend to present any evidence further not only lends greater credence to the dossier being nonsense but also suggests they don’t have anything to present.

Because if he had been involved in anything he would likely have been prosecuted for it even if he were willing to flip and get a lighter deal as a result.

Mueller is obviously still leaning on Manafort to see what he can get on Trump. Manafort is facing multiple charges for his prior business dealings that have nothing to do with his three months on the Trump campaign.

But this certainly puts a hole in the left’s dreams that Manafort had some collusion evidence and was going to flip on Trump.
